his digital display diathermy is the top most model amongst all the Surgical diathermy units manufactured by the company. This is a microprocessor controlled unit complete with 9 memories. It has the facility to preprogram and recall from memory both the HF output power settings as well as the advanced functions selected in each mode. Three modes of monopolar coagulation namely soft, forced and spray coagulation are provided. The soft contact coagulation is very useful for superficial sealing of tiny bleeders over a vast area very quickly; this mode is very useful in lobectomy, surgeries, TURP and endometriosis in gynaecology. This diathermy has superior cutting and coagulation effects thanks to the mosfet based technology supported with SMPS for power supply. Unlike conventional electronic surgical diathermy units where transformer and transistor are used to produce HF wave form, for Arc series digital ICs and oscillators are used. This in turn produces superior results for surgical applications. This diathermy is a multifunction high tech surgical diathermy unit. It is the lightest diathermy available in India. It has an inbuilt voltage stabilizer. Further this diathermy is capable of performing fine blended cutting, required in thoracic/Gastro/Laparoscopic surgical applications as well as spray coagulation for wide area surface coagulation effects. This unit can be used for all kinds of surgeries like general surgery, laparoscopy, lapcoli, TURP, TUEVP etc. The bipolar generator has full 120 watts output (most Indian diathermy units have only 50/75 watts output) and gives real charr free whitish coagulation. This unit is also capable of doing under water cutting giving very good cutting loop life. Also combination use of monopolar cut and bipolar coagulation side by side is enabled to meet needs in laparoscopic surgeries. Monopolar cutting is very smooth comparable to scalpel cut and pinpoint monopolar coagulation also is possible.
